How can you tell if hair is real Brazilian Hair? Well the truth is in Brazil there are so many different races some of these are Anglo, Amerindian, Afro decent etc.
Anglo Brazilians are usually people born in families from European decent such as Italian, French, German, Portugal (Portuguese) etc. Their hair is very soft silky and 7 times out of 10 blonde in color. This hair is what is refereed to as grade A hair. This hair is the most expensive Brazilian hair on the market.
Amerindian’s are descendent’s of the Brazilians who live in the Amazon Jungle region of Brazil they have Jet black to light brown hair but their hair has a slight wave to it. This hair is NOT the same as Indian hair from Indian. Their eating habits and climate is different. Indian hair has a distinctive look, feel and smell even if has been chemically processed. It will still have a herbal smell similar to coriander. Remember hair is a part of your DNA, every human being has a particular smell on their body which is released by your body through sweat (Endorphin) thats why when a sniffer dog gets a persons clothing regardless of whether they wear cologne or perfume they can track that person down because of their unique body smell. Now when a particular food or herb is consumed in a nation such as coriander, chilli it is absorbed into your body and hair. Hence the reason l said that Indian hair will always have that herbal smell to it. So look out for this when you are buying your hair.
Amerindian hair is more softer silkier than INDIAN HAIR when you wash it is has a natural shine after it dries. It also takes a slight wave to it after being washed. The most important test factor is when you color the hair if picks up color quickly and easily it is real but if it takes many attempts to get the hair color then it is not Brazilian hair or if it turns to a straw like texture then it is probably Chinese hair. Afro hair is the hair that comes from the black/mixed raced Brazilians (they are mixed with either Amerindian or White) it is more thicker and curlier this is known by many beauty parlor applicators as Molado hair (meaning mixed raced hair) This hair is sold as a grade C in Brazil.
PLEASE BEWARE BRAZILIAN HAIR IS NOT SOLD CHEAP WHOLESALE SO WHEN YOU FIND SOMEONE SELLING 100% BRAZILIAN HAIR FOR CHEAP PRICES IT IS GUARANTEED TO BE FAKE. IT’S LIKE DESIGNER BAGS IF IT IS TOO CHEAP ITS EITHER FAKE OR STOLEN! THE WHOLESALE PRICE IN BRAZIL IS VERY HIGH AND IN CHINA YOU WILL NOT FIND HARDLY ANY SUPPLIERS THAT SELL BRAZILIAN HAIR LET ALONE SELLING IT FOR CHEAP. THE COST IS TOO HIGH FOR THE CHINESE SO THEY JUST DUPLICATE IT BY PROCESSING THEIR OWN HAIR AND MAKING IT LOOK LIKE BRAZILIAN HAIR BUT AFTER YOU PUT IT IN YOU WILL KNOW YOU BOUGHT A FAKE.
